When they moved into their new global headquarters in Westminster, London, I worked alongside the interior designers at Thirdway to bring the brand to life in the space. My role was to ensure that the office not only functioned well but also embodied GKN’s identity, heritage, and cutting-edge engineering.

3D-Printed Engine Parts
In the breakout space, I created a hand-painted mural using GKN’s technical and mechanical drawings. This bold, abstract statement transforms engineering into art, celebrating the precision and craftsmanship behind GKN’s work while acting as a visual focal point in the space.

To balance privacy while maintaining openness in meeting rooms, I developed manifestations inspired by GKN’s partnerships with Formula E and Jaguar. Each design incorporates race track outlines from these collaborations, reinforcing GKN’s presence in high-performance automotive innovation.

Signage & Wayfinding
From directional signage to room names and a big wood panelling inlay in the offices entrance — the signage aligned with GKN’s identity. Thoughtful placement and design reinforced the brand experience while maintaining clarity and usability throughout the space.
By integrating these elements throughout the office, I helped transform GKN’s headquarters into more than just a workspace—it became an immersive brand experience. Every detail, from meeting rooms to murals, reflects GKN Automotive’s leadership in innovation and engineering.
